Handling of IP Applications in Finland –Flow Chart Defence Contractor helps a Finnish firm to gain a business contract Defence Contractor files an application with the Finnish Committee on Industrial Participation (CIP) CIP requests Finnish firms to comment on the transaction and the role of the Defence Contractor Technical Working Group of the CIP gives its opinion (technology transfer, high tech etc.) CIP approves the transaction and establishes the credit value Final approval by the Ministry of Employment and the Economy Credit is registered on Defence Contractor’s Clearing Account Defence Contractor is notified
