Surah 2 Al-Baqarah, Ayat 185-185 During the month of Ramadan the Qur'an was sent down as a guidance to the people with Clear Signs of the true guidance and as the Criterion (between right and wrong). So those of you who live to see that month should fast it, and whoever is sick or on a journey should fast the same number of other days instead. Allah wants ease and not hardship for you so that you may complete the number of days required, magnify Allah for what He has guided you to, and give thanks to Him.187 شَهۡرُ رَمَضَانَ الَّذِىۡٓاُنۡزِلَفِيۡهِالۡقُرۡاٰنُ هُدًى لِّلنَّاسِ وَ بَيِّنٰتٍ مِّنَ الۡهُدٰىوَالۡفُرۡقَانِۚفَمَنۡ شَهِدَ مِنۡكُمُالشَّهۡرَفَلۡيَـصُمۡهُ ؕ وَمَنۡکَانَمَرِيۡضًااَوۡعَلٰى سَفَرٍ فَعِدَّةٌ مِّنۡ اَيَّامٍ اُخَرَؕ يُرِيۡدُاللّٰهُبِکُمُالۡيُسۡرَ وَلَا يُرِيۡدُبِکُمُالۡعُسۡرَ وَلِتُکۡمِلُواالۡعِدَّةَوَلِتُکَبِّرُوااللّٰهَعَلٰى مَا هَدٰٮكُمۡوَلَعَلَّکُمۡتَشۡكُرُوۡنَ ﴿2:185﴾ Happy Land for Islamic Teachings

Fasting – Exams and Jobs Nap Naptime is hardly the preserve of babies and preschoolers. Top performers are attuned to the power of this ritual. Naps help alleviate the sleepiness that we feel even outside of Ramadan, especially in the afternoons. The ideal nap is not more than 20 to 30 minutes long and is preferably taken around 2 pm or 3 pm. Try to schedule a short nap in the early to mid-afternoon. Make sure to set an alarm, or call a family member or friend who will keep calling you until you wake up. You can take a nap in your car, or in a prayer room in your school. There will very likely be other fasting students doing the same. Alternatively, you can also find a quiet corner of a cafe or the school cafeteria and simply put your head down for a quick snooze.
