What the West Nile Virus Is Caused By • Mosquitoes carry the West Nile Virus. If the Mosquito is infected by the virus and you get bitten, you have a chance of getting the virus.
Symptoms of the Virus • Symptoms of the virus are; • Headache • Fever • Stiffness • Tiredness • Joint pain • Rash
Where Is The Virus Located? • The West Nile Virus is most commonly located in Africa, West Asia, and the Middle East area.
Other Research…. • Over the summer over 100 people have passed from it. • Kids with normal immune systems usually can fight it off. • In extreme cases, the virus can cause encephalitis. ( Swelling of the brain. )
