Council Questions and Considerations in September: • Do we have an inventory of current shelters across the state? • OHCS does have a list of shelters that exist across the state. Through the shelter study, TAC performed verification to ensure the list was accurate. 2. What are the primary pros and cons to the bifurcated funding approach? Pro: • This approach allows us to invest funding immediately to meet imminent needs for the winter of 2019/2020 while the combined long term strategy will allow us to increase sustainable shelter infrastructure. Con: • Due to time constraints, long term planning and resource leveraging opportunities will be limited in the immediate release of resources. Investing in Shelter Infrastructure
