Synopsis • visual installation about a dancer ‘breaking-free’ through dance • research on how Hip Hop is a relatively new form of dance and, in particular the style of ‘krump’ • project our dancer inside a glass bowl where they are trapped • the dancer will jump out of the bowl and ‘break free’
Our idea and Location • first section inside the jar in a green screen studio • When the dancer breaks free, the film location will be in a rural underpass • convey how they have broken free from the constraints
Examples https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ZHef-hAvOM https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RRWTWjohErk • In most examples, bottle not transparent • We will frost the back of glass
Recce Location for second half of video (after glass break out) to be projected onto the wall. Green room to be confirmed
