RPWG led by Chuck Bean focused on Human Services Database & Website. FY05 projects completed, FY06 initiatives begin with Special Needs, Mass Care, Media Campaign, and Volunteer Management. Long-term focus on Community Recovery, with sub-committees formed to address various aspects for the next 3-5 years. HSWG Charter completion and expansion in progress for sustained growth in the future.

  2. FY05 Project Update 2-1-1: Human Services Database/Website • Website (211metrodc.org) fully operational • Completing feedback stage • Public launching of site early next year

  3. FY06 Projects Project Plans Submitted • Special Needs Populations • Mass Care • Media campaign • FAC • Continuing Volunteer Mgmt. • Reg. Evacuation Traffic Monitoring Plan Submitted and Approved • ESF-14 Long Term Community Recovery

RESF-14: Long Term Community Recovery • Six sub-committees formed with vice-chairs • Administration of Plans, Programs, and Budgets • Economic Recovery • Housing and Rental Assistance • Individual and Social Recovery • Infrastructure • Mitigation • Project will be moving into 2nd phase on schedule (see handout) • Floating RFP for contractor to finish ESF-14 plan by June 2007
