  2. The word of our editors Hello, our dear friends. We have been having great time since we published the 1st part of our Magazine and we hope that you will like this part too. We have a lot of things to share with you and we think you’ll like it. So, not to talk about ourselves, let’s start with things we did at school in December, January and March. Your friends, My school magazine editors

  3. Wonderful december: December was the month of learning. We had a wonderful public class with teacher Darko and the 8th grade-students, on 11th December . They showed the results of their research about BranislavNusic, our famous writer. That was the part of their Serbian language project. We saw a bit of a show, the students had costumes (our friend Aleksandra had a role of Nusic himself). Andjela, Nikola and Teodora drew cartoons of the writer and we got familiar with their special skills. The students had roles and gave us the basic facts about the writer, his private life as well as his carrier.

IT-ACADEMY  Our English language teacher Ivana helped us to join an English language course organized by IT-Academy, and we got it for free  We had the real bingo competition in order to get the chance for the free online course, as we needed to choose just three of our students. The teacher put our names on the paper and our friend NevenaJankovic pulled out Aleksandra Veljkovic, AndjelaSimonovic and Nikola Agatonovic who were happy to be the lucky winners.

The letter we got from the IT-academy LINK group obezbedio besplatne kurseve engleskog jezika za đake u Osnovnoj školi „Strahinja Popović” (Dvorane) i „Vasa Pelagić” (Padež) Uspešno se nastavlja akcija u kojoj ITAcademy, kao deo LINK groupa, poklanja besplatne online kurseve engleskog jezika đacima osnovnih škola u Srbiji. U dosadašnjim akcijama je učestvovalo preko 40 osnovnih škola, u kojima je više od 200 đaka dobilo mogućnost da besplatno nauči ili usavrši engleski jezik. Ponosno objavljujemo da se akciji priključuju i škole iz naših krajeva i da će mogućnost da dodatno nauče engleski jezik sada imati i đaci iz Osnovne škole „StrahinjaPopović” iz Dvorana . Nakon što se registruju na strani prijave, đacima će biti omogućeno da putem platforme za online učenje pristupe kursevima od kuće i u vreme kada njima najviše odgovara, a kursevi su klasifikovani prema različitim nivoima znanja, koji se određuju nakon početnog testa. Pozivamo i ostale kompanije koje na bilo koji način mogu da doprinesu da se poboljšaju kvalitet i uslovi života naših najmlađih članova društva da se uključe u slične akcije i omoguće im srećnije i bezbrižnije odrastanje i detinjstvo.

CELEBRATIONS- PROJECT NEW YEAR THROUGH YEARS IN SERBIA AND THE OTHER COUNTRIES On 27th December, in Dvorane, we saw the presentation of 1st grade project about the customs connected to New Year’s Eve in Serbia and other countries (particularly in The USA). The children from all other villages that belong to our school came to Dvorane to see this wonderful presentation. Look at the most interesting parts of the show…

Celebrations- project The students prepared the play about New Year’s Eve, we heard a lot of about the holiday itself, listend to Jingle Bells song in English and Santa Claus is coming to town Our friends journalists had a conversation with Vesna,the mother of our students Milos and Uros, who moved from The USA to Dvorane. She had a part in a show as an expert as she was talking about the specialties of the celebration in the USA.

  9. St.Sava’s Day Traditionally this day was celebrated in all schools that belong to Primary School Strahinja Popovic. Our friends prepared a play, led by teacher Darko Obradovic and teacher Ivana Jakovljevic. Our choir was led by teacher Ivan Stanojevic. Younger students prepared themselves for recital about St Sava.

  11. kopaonik - skiing • Our students were at skiing to Kopaonik Mountain with the PE teacher Dragan Lazic. • The photos can tell you the story instead of us. We simply enjoyed!!!

The national day of books • How lovely it is to sit in front of the school surrounded by nature in an improvised classroom in which we read aloud. • The students of 6th and 7th grade were the participants of a great class in nature, the class dedicated to National day of books, together with the school librarian IvanaRankovic, Serbian language teacher IvanaJakovljevic, English language teacher IvanaKricak, Chemistry teacher MilisavMilicevic, our headmaster VesnaMilenkovic and pedagogist Marina Vujanac.

  13. The national day of books • We brought our favourite books and read a part that we like the most. • We read aloud, the others were the listeners. • We had a camera too.   15. The safety on the internet On 5th March, our students went, together with our teachers Dragan Lazic and Darko Obradovic, to see the lecture about the Safety on the internet. There they had the PPt about all the risks that chatting, making a home video and publishing live streams can bring to us. The person who talked about this topic gave students lots of examples of cases where children are cheated by older people in order to be abused.

  16. Students as teachers We had a lovely PPT about the safety on the internet at our school too. Nina Miletic , the 7th grade student, and Milica Markovic, the 6th grade student, shared their research results with their friends and teacher talking about the mentioned topic. After the PPT, the students had a discussion about the topic with our headmaster and present teachers Dragan Lazic, Ivana Kricak and Marina Vujanac.

  17. Competitions and results • WE HAVE TO ANNOUNCE THAT OUR SCHOOL MADE GREAT RESULTS ALMOST AT ALL FIELDS, IN ALL SUBJECTS.

  18. And we had lecture about energetic efficiency We were there with our techers Zorica and Biljana. We had friends from different schools and we won the competition.

  19. Etwinning project – I learn to study Our dear readers, as you’ve already known our school was the part of the eTwinning project named I learn to study (Učim da učim). Our students had a lot of activities, they made different kind of internet researches, did interviews with some of our teachers, our headmaster and our pedagogist. The teachers Sanja and Ivana had a presentation of the results of the questionnaire we did with them during the project in front of the teachers. The 6th grade did a lot of activities connected to ways they study and they had involved their parents, too. We are happy that we were the part of this portal and we enjoyed everything.
