Radiological & costimpact • The radiation collected dose amounts to 1 to 2.5 mSv per intervention (29mSv in 2003). • Over the last ten years, the collective dose amounts to several tens of mSv. • Each intervention causes a downtime of ~10 days (5% of 1 year NA physics). • The frequency of interventions is increasing over time. • The leaks are mostly located between splitters 1 and 2, especially where the dose levels are the highest.
