Project Aims • To raise awareness of the Antonine Wall amongst local people and businesses and what opportunities this has for their community, • To bring local people together to talk about local assets, common hopes, concerns and aspirations, • To identify a series of prioritised issues and actions for promoting and enhancing the Wall, • To identify and develop community aspirations for future on-site interpretation.

  8. What has been achieved so far? • Consultant appointed & list of contacts built • Outreach meetings & interviews • Schools work – 7 schools & 300 pupils participated in workshops • 2 local community meetings in Twechar & Kilsyth • Draft report and asset map produced

  9. Next steps • Finalise report & produce asset map • Celebratory event – 10th April 2010 • Springboard for community action….
