Negatives • Montessori students sometimes have problems adjusting to the traditional grading system • Montessori students may have issues with deadlines in a traditional setting
Assisting With Transition • Start introducing 8th graders to the concept of receiving numerical grades • Take a harder stance on deadlines • Provide more opportunities for Montessori students to visit the high school • Provide some Montessori training for the high school staff
