Three-quarters of Australian households have at least one person who has been bullied, with schools being the most common place in which bullying occurs. • 81 percent of bullying cases took place in schools more than double the cases that occurred in the workplaces, on the street, during sports, or from neighbors. Where does bullying most occur?
In the United States, up to one third of middle school and high school students have been victims of bullying. • Victims of bullying are often younger, smaller, or weaker physically or emotionally than their tormentors. • Many victims of bullying are singled out because of their sexual orientation. According to the American School Health Association, gay and bisexual students frequently deal with intolerance and mistreatment at school. These students are more likely to also be the victims of bullying. Bullying At School

Physical Bullying contains hitting, kicking, tripping, pushing, or damaging property. • To avoid this, tell an adult, or find a peer who will help protect you. Physical Bullying
Verbal Bullying includes name calling, insults, intimidation, homophobic, racist remarks, or verbal abuse. • To avoid verbal bullying ignore the bully and walk away or kindly ask the person to stop. Verbal Bullying
Covert Bullying is often hard to recognize and can be carried out behind the bullied person’s back. • It is designed to harm someone's social reputation and/or cause humiliation • Covert bullying includes lying, spreading rumors, negative facial physical gestures, playing nasty jokes, mimicking others. Covert Bullying
Cyberbullying is overt or covert behaviors using digital technology. • Examples include; harassment with a mobile phone, excluding someone from social network. Cyber Bullying

Victims of bullying feel ashamed and embarrassed, they’re afraid of retaliation from the bully, feel pressured to be quiet • Concerned no one will believe them, worried about being called a snitch, feel like they deserve it, don’t recognize subtle forms of bullying, they assume adults will expect them to deal with it, fear adults will restrict digital access. Why Are Victims of Bullying Voiceless?
First introduce a bullying program in the school. • The program will be for students who have been bullied or just want to help others who are being bullied. Conclusion
