FLASHBACK • When a character remembers the past in a story, the story could be one of remembrance
FLASHBACK • In Scrooge, when Ebenezer Scrooge was with the ghost of Christmas Past, he has flashing back to when he was a small boy setting in a chair at boarding School on Christmas day while everyone else was out side.
FLASHBACK • In the Education Of Little Tree when Little Tree looks at the dog star when he was at the orphanage, he thinks back to the times he had with Grandma, Grandpa, Willow John, and the dogs.
FLASHBACK Flashback is important, because it takes the character back to important things from the past. Flashback allows the character to go back in time. It takes the character and the reader back to something in the characters life that was important. It is also a good way for the reader to better understand what the character is saying when they are talking about their past.
