Overview • Allegro Vivace Consulting Group, Inc. specializes in Finance and Accounting software solutions designed to perform the reconciliations involved in audit and accounting processes. The programming and development phase for these software solutions is intended to be short-term (generally less than a month). • The objective is to provide a cost effective and efficient service as an alternative to the labor intensive and time consuming accounting reconciliations that are performed as an integral part of the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting cycles.
Background • The concept of providing automated financial reconciliations evolved as an extension of my consulting work with large Hospitals, Universities, and Financial Institutions, as it pertained to the various facets of operational accounting and audit processes. • Years of performing and supervising various reconciliation processes within the Public and Private sectors has resulted in a knowledge base both in Accounting and Finance, along with the computer savvy that provides the foundation for the reconciliation software solutions.
Methods of Service • Allegro Vivace can provide the automated reconciliation service, through one of the following conventional methods. • On Site - Reconciliations can be performed on site, transferring data via USB Flash Drive or the CD Drive. • Encrypted Email – Transferring data from PC to PC via the internet using a secret code key to encrypt and decrypt financial data. • File Transfer Protocol (FTP) – a method of moving file types via the internet securely and swiftly.
Computer Applications • The computer applications and the tools and techniques used to build the reconciliation modules are Microsoft’s Excel spreadsheet and the Access relational database, along with the Visual Basic (VBA) programming language inherent in those applications.

Pricing • The hourly rate for programming and development and running the module is $40. • A standard reconciliation (compares account numbers and dollar amounts) can be sampled at no charge. • The total charge for programming and development is the aforementioned hourly rate times an estimate that is done based on previous experience with similar projects. • The terms are Net 30, and because these development projects are short term (generally less than a month), the project is complete before an invoice is sent out.
