Transfer Student Information Sessions Monday mornings at 10:30 a.m. in University Welcome Center (Ammons Hall) Saturday sessions in October and March (March 2, 2013) Overview of Fort Collins, CSU, transfer policies and processes Student-led campus tour with an Admissions Ambassador Denver: At the Denver Center & 2-yr colleges + virtual tour

Transfer Student Visit Day March 8, 2013—Full-day event on-campus • Detailed look at transfer process: • Admissions • Credit evaluation • Financial aid/scholarships • Advising • Nest Step Orientation • Workshops on writing your personal statement, financial aid, and transition services • College meetings • Campus resource fair

Military & Veteran Student Visit Day 2013-2014 Date: TBD VA benefits and CSU programs for Veterans Admission process for freshmen and transfer students Evaluation process for military and college credits Student Veterans panel Information fair with colleges and campus-wide resources for students and families

  15. On-Campus Visits • Individually arranged visits for small groups • Include Transfer Information Session & Tour • Customized to meet your students’ needs: • 2-hour, ½ day, or more • With or without lunch on campus • TRIO • STEM • ???

  16. Outreach • Transfer Fairs – Day/Night and College Fairs • Visits to 2-yr college campuses in Colorado, Wyoming, Western Nebraska, and now for 2013, California! • PTK National Conference • Sponsoring Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska and other Regional Meetings

  17. Transfer Application Review Designated readers for transfer files leads to earlier admission decisions Individual review for first reads and committee review for borderline candidates Transfer Norming Committee – calibrating decisions to make sure every reader is on the same page.
