New Evaluation System • Informal observations to assess standards • 10 mini-observations throughout the year • Summative Evaluation every year • Ongoing informal discussion of teacher performance • A yearly meeting to complete a summative evaluation, supervisor and employee bring completed rubrics to the meeting • Final Evaluation document is completed and submitted to the Personnel folder
Mini-Observations • Informal observations and other documented sources may be used as part of the summative evaluation process and post observation summary. • Mini-observations require at least a ten minute observation. • The evaluator shall meet face to face as soon as possible, then follow up with the reflections of observation form as soon as possible. • Mini-observations will not include checklists or long written observations.
