Each tutor group has the opportunity to invest £5 in an idea with the aim being to use the investment to make as much profit as possible for your house charity • Not only will this raise money for your house charity it will also develop your business and enterprise skills
Before you are allowed to invest the £5 you must submit a business plan to your form tutor by Monday April 22nd • Only the best and most suitable ideas will be chosen to represent the House. • The form – rep is to take responsibility for this • Form discussion – what will you need to include in your business plan?
Business Plan • What your idea is • What you will need • Who will be responsible for helping with the different elements of the idea? • How much of the £5 you will invest? • How much will you charge for your idea? • How much profit do you think you will make? • Who will be responsible for collecting and looking after the money? • Give a rough timeline of when you will complete the different parts of the task.
Timeline • Week beginning 15thApril • as a tutor group come up with the idea for your investment • Monday 22ndthApril • hand business plan into your form tutor • Week beginning 22nd + 29th April • make your idea into something you can sell and make money from • Weds 8th, Thurs 9th and Friday 10th May • the main hall will be available for you to raise money for your house charity from your idea and investment – very similar to the Christmas Fayre.
Prizes • There will be a trophy for the best overall tutor group as well as prizes for the best tutor group in each house • Good Luck
