Geography Some physical features of Jamaica are large mountains, coastal plains, being surrounded by water, valleys, hills, rivers, waterfalls, plateau, caves, mineral springs, harbors and plains. Jamaica is located in the Caribbean West Indies. It is approximately 185 miles southeast of the Cayman island and approximately 275 miles southwest of Cuba. Famous artifacts of Jamaica -Bob Marley Museum-Who-Bob Marley-What-Bob Marley Museum-Where-Nine mile, Jamaica-When- Opened in 1975 -The Devon House-Who-Home of Gorge Stiebel, one of the first black millionaires of Jamaica-What- The Devon house-Where-Kingston, Jamaica-When- The house was built in 1881 and in 1990 it was declared a national monument -Rose Hall Great House-Who- Annie Palmer moved there in the 1820’s with her husband. The Bob Marley Museum is located in Nine Mile, Jamaica. The museum is runned by members of Marley’s family. Nine Mile is where Bob Marley’s musical career began and also influenced many of his songs. Marley’s body lies buried along with his guitar.
