INTRODUCTION • Whatis wireless sensor network? Sensor node Gateway Base Station
Introduction:- • WSN are used to collect data from the environment. • They consists of large number of SENSOR NODES and one or more BASE STATIONS. • The nodes in network are connected via Wireless communication channel. • Each node has capability to sense the data , process the data and send it to rest of the nodes or to Base Stations.
RING CLASSIFICATION STAR TREE
Star Topology • Single hop to Gateway • Gate way serves to communicate between nodes • Node can not send data to each other directly • Lowest Power consumption • Easily scalable • Not easily reliable as one point of failure • No alternate communication paths
Ring Topology • All node performs same function • No leader node • Single direction – data lost Tree Topology • Msg. transmit in branch of trees • It checks leader node and their information
FULLY CONNECTED CLASSIFICATION MESH
Fully Connected • Additional nodes – links increases • Routing problem occurs Mesh Topology • Multi Hopping system • Nodes can communicate each other directly • Highly Power consumption • Increase latency
HybridTopology Sensors are arrange in star around the routers Routers around themselves in mesh form Reliable ,low power consumption , many alternate communication paths
