A: Backup Exec will provide a key store in its database to ease backup and restore operations. • User is ultimately responsible for any loss of key • User will need to keep track of his/her Pass Phrases. • A given Pass Phrase always generates the same Key • SYMANTEC will not be able to recover tapes without keys unlike a password protected tape
