Innovative Career Pathway- Clinical Matron • There are opportunities to develop a traditional career pathway leading to ward management. • If you want to progress into senior management but want to spend 80% of you time providing ‘hands on’ clinical care you may be interested in HHFT’s Clinical Matron pathway

Therapy at HHFT • Band 5 OT and Physio rotations on both sites (Basingstoke and Winchester) • Monthly peer group meetings and comprehensive Band 5 inductions • Trust Preceptorship programme • Robust on call training package including full day simulation training developed with Southampton University • OT rotations 9 months including all core rotations and in 2017 Adult Services and Community rotations • PT rotations 4 months including all core rotations and Paediatrics • Keen to offer posts to new graduates awaiting Qualification/HCPC registration

Therapies continued • OPD at BNH, RHCH, Alton, Bishops Waltham, Andover (pelvic health – adults and paediatric MSK), Bordon paediatric MSK. • Inpatient paediatric therapists cover NNU and acute ward on BNH and RHCH sites and run Paediatric OPD clinics at all sites mentioned above. • Advanced physiotherapy practitioners are being introduced in GP surgeries in Alton and are in discussion with Basingstoke GP consortiums to develop these posts. • For more information or to arrange an informal visit please contact: Emily Mean Acute Therapy Team Lead emily.mean@hhft.nhs.uk
