  1. THE COMPANY OPTIKRON, your partner for micro-optics, assemblies and optical coatings was founded in 1992 in the optics and technology region of Jena. We are specializing in the efficient and flexible production of customized plano-optics with smallest dimensions, assembling of micro-optical groups and systems as well as developing and manufacturing customized optical coatings. Our competence, the high motivation of our staff and the technological possibilities enable us, with products of highest quality to contribute to powerful and innovative applications of our customers. The Know How and the experiences in the micro- and precision optics manufacturing are an solid basis for manufacturing complex optics with continuously highest precision in-house capabilities: • technological processes and technical equipment for the whole production process from raw glass block to finished plano-optics of high precision and micro optics • assembling and measuring laboratories • mechanical department for jigmaking and prototyping • coating department with latest coating machines for plasma-ion assisted evaporation processes

  3. QUALITY QUALITY ASSURANCE We are committed to highest quality requirements at our products and are conscious that our products are used in fastidious applications. Therefore it is important for us that everyone of our workforce themselves has a high consciousness about the needed accuracy in each production step and everyone has to work conscientiously in order to guarantee that only products with continuously high quality will be sent out to our customers. To ensure this quality commitment we develop and control operational sequences, examine the compliance with regulations and use modern test and measuring procedures in each production step. A final inspection of each single component before shipment is completing the process. 100% Inspection

MICRO PRISMS • to custom specifications in dimensions from 0.3 to approx. 7 mm • (individually variations and special forms as well as standard prisms) • made from all optical glasses and fused silica • coatings from edge to edge without margins • with autoclavable coatings for modern medicine devices • with high efficiency coatings for high end laser systems • with highest precision and surface quality applications: endoscopy optics, laser optics, optics for fibers, optics for sensors, and optical data transmission

PRISM GROUPS • composite optical elements (arrays) for high power diode lasers • made of prisms and thin plates by wringing them together into optical contact • useable for high power applications, complex groups of very high precision, • with accurately sharp edges • Director- and Redirector-Units for high brightness diode lasers • groups of prisms which are cemented together => Compact-Prisms • micro optics mounted on fibers • beamsplitter groups down to 0.5 mm • applications: • prism groups (arrays) for high power diode lasers and diode stacks • for beam shaping and fiber coupling, step mirrors • cemented optical groups for endoscopy and medical devices

OPTICAL COATINGS Based on experiences of decades, we are using modern software for generating customized coating solutions with optimal designs tailored to the needs of our customers applications. Plasma-ion assisted evaporation processes in latest coating machines These processes are generating coatings with improved characteristics and they allow the realization of a lot of high performance coatings with relatively low temperatures during the process. We have developed technological solutions for realizing optical coatings without uncoated margins on miniaturized optics. We are also manufacturing special coatings and autoclavable coatings for micro optics used in modern medical devices like micro optics for endoscopes. coating services for customers substrates as well as complete optical components. antireflection coatings, metallic mirrors, high and partially reflective coatings, filters and beam splitter coatings
