Project Overview - PDAS • Improve safety at State hospitals by implementing a Personal Duress Alarm System (PDAS) • PDAS uses a radio frequency identification-based, real-time system to broadcast a staff member’s location to others via text message. • Employees will use a Wi-Fi ID tag they can activate in a duress situation to trigger alerts.
