BODY Discipline your body like an athlete. Do not make any member become an instrument of wickedness but righteousness.
BODY (cont’d) Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; You were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.
MIND • Do not conform to the pattern of world’s thinking. • Make every thought captive and obedient to Christ. • Set mind on things above. • Think beautiful; An idle mind is the workshop of the devil.” • Trust God for a steadfast and peaceful mind. • “As a man thinketh in his heart so is he.”
Mind (cont’d) Therefore, prepare your minds for action; be self-controlled; set your hope fully on the grace to be given you when Jesus Christ is revealed.
SPIRIT “Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.” So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature. For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but a spirit of power, of love and sound mind.
Spirit (cont’d) But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.

“ Upang maitinding natin ang tunay na bantayog ng ating pagbabanyuhay (anyo nag pamumuhay), kailangang radikal nating baguhin hindi lamang ang ating nga institusyon kundi maging ang paraan ng ating pamumuhay at pag iisip. Ang kailangan ay isang rebulusyon hindi lamang sa panlabas kundi lalo na sa panloob.” Apolinario Mabini: Revolucion Filipina (1898)
A. WHY VALUES? 1. Without values, we are like bubbles that are bound to burst. 2. Without values, we are like skin and bones. There is no heart that can feel, no mind that can understand and no soul that can endure.
A. WHY VALUES? (cont) 3. Without values, we are only a sea of faces without an identity. We are only a mass of body decaying in the valley of fears and tears. But when we have values and embody them in our lives, we transcend animal existence. We become the top of creation. We become children of God.
VALUES… Christian Values… • can restore us to our original nature of oneness, unity and conquest. With these values, we remain strong like a ship with a strong rudder. With these values, we are not helpless floatsam under the mercy of whims of the winds.
“The SCIENCE of VALUES –New Science“Revolution of the Heart”
“The SCIENCE of VALUES –New Science“Revolution of the Heart” • Values constitute the only food of the heart. Any food other than values is toxin and poison to the heart. • Fame, wealth and power have their limits. Values have none.
“The SCIENCE of VALUES –New Science“Revolution of the Heart” (cont) • We may have the best equipment or machines that money can buy. But unless we go back to our old values, we may misuse them and make them instruments of violence and death.
“The SCIENCE of VALUES –New Science“Revolution of the Heart” (cont) • We may have people with the highest degree of education, but unless we have moral courage within us, we may yet see a mass of talented derelicts not dissimilar to the criminal that the law is bound to eliminate.
