Other locations where respondents meet: • Outside of Illinois • O'Fallon • Carbondale, Marion, Moline, Quincy, Danville • Our own office when possible • Fairview Heights • Marion, Carbondale, Mt Vernon • These are smaller meetings - boards and committee meetings. As a national non-profit, our practice has evolved to speaking at state and national member conferences, including ones in the other states you name. • all over the state • Quincy, IL • Schaumburg, Naperville, Lombard. • Out of state.. • Effingham, Mt. Vernon and Belleville. • Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities (require 100,000 - 150,000 sqft for tradeshow and Int'l airport.) • Mt. Vernon, Newton • Most of these are small meetings. Conferences are Peoria, Springfield, Chicago area"
Additional Comments from Respondents: • Most of our meetings are held at our office. • Looking at Miami right now. • Phoenix, Anaheim, Nashville, Kansas City, Vancouver, San Diego, New York City, Atlanta, Orlando, Williamsburg PA, Hartford CT, Las Vegas, New Orleans, Minneapolis, Marrakech, Beijing • I always learn about communities and areas at summer session and have often returned for family travel, and sometimes via a meeting. • We are a "Regional" Association with a territorial jurisdiction of "Central Illinois". • The vast majority of our meeting are held at the IEA Professional Development Center. Even though we rent the facility to other associations, me maintain some "blackout" dates for our staff meetings (over 100 attendees) and Board of Directors meetings. • We also have had meetings in Chicago but rarely.
