  2. 1 Cup of Plot • The Problem of the story was that a girl named Gina wanted to go to school ,but her papa didn’t want her to. Her papa said she needs to help her mom with house work. Also her brothers had to be news paper boy but one of her brothers refused to be a paper boy and got in trouble but Gina gave up her dream in the age of six.

  3. 2 Teaspoons of CHARACTER LET’S HAVE SOME FUN WITH CHARACTERS • Gina- talented and poor girl who wanted to go to school • Papa- stuborn and who didn’t let his children go to school • Tony- vey caring and the boy who refused to be a paper boy • Vinnie-obeying and the brother who obeyed his father • Mamma- helpful and who sadly couldn’t convince her husband to let her children go to school • Louisa- generous becomes friends with Gina • Judy- kind and Also becomes friends with Gina

  4. 2 Tablespoons of EXCITEMENT • Gina finds her freedom at the age of eleven and took private lessons with one of her friends and it turns out that Gina is a very talented girl • Also Gina is so talented that she taught a little girl to sing.

And my least favorit part was when Gina father shouted at her for asking to go to school • And I would recommend this book to people who like nonfiction books because when you start reading it feels like its true.
