  3. Within this Life of Mine;

  4. Give Me the strength to Live it well,

  5. Whatever I may find.

  6. Bestow from Your Abundance,

  7. Whatever I may lack,

  8. To use the Hours wisely,

  9. For I cannot have Them back.

  10. Lord, I thank You for Another day,

  11. In which to make Amends,

  12. For little slights or petty Words,

  13. Inflicted on My Friends.

  14. For sometimes losing patience,

  15. With Problems that I find,

  16. For seeing faults in Other’s Lives,

  17. But not the Ones in Mine.

  18. Lord, thank You for Another chance,

  19. In which I’ll try to be,

  20. A little More deserving,

  21. Of the Gifts You’ve given Me.

  22. For Yesterday is Over,

  23. And Tomorrow’s Far away,

  24. And I remain Committed,

  25. To the Good I do Today !
