  2. What is LOL Middle school all about? • High Achieving, content driven district • Nurturing, respectful and safe learning environment • Academically rigorous environment • Upper middle-class, fairly homogeneous populous • Team-oriented within grade • CCSS/SBAC adopted district

How is technology Integrated? • Current technology Use: smartboard, various web-based software, Student Information Systems • Current Support Structure: inconsistent and inconclusive as it pertains to teacher delivery and student achievement • Need for Learning Management System and value: Edmodo, Weebly, Finalsite • Tablet Computing: Ipad pilot and student limitations • Alignment of existing technology to CCSS/SBAC and necessary Accommodations

Why Futuring is Bright Futuring… • Allows for thoughtful evaluation of existing practices • Enables collaboration and brainstorming to plan for solutions • Is flexible enough to include many members of an organization • Yields valuable information when derived from clear data and trends My Project… • Utilizes an LMS • Explores CCSS • Restructures P.D. • Integrates technology
