  2. Revisions Pending School Board Approval School Board Approval IS Required For Revisions Made to: (black print – legal policy) * Promotion Criteria #1 and #2

  3. Revisions Effective Immediately School Board Approval NOT Required For Revisions Made to: (red print – procedural information) * Good Cause Alternative or Good Cause Portfolio Promotion Criteria AND * Progress Monitoring Plan (PMP) Criteria

  4. Reading Promotion Criteria Revisions – Grades 1-2 * Promotion Criteria #1~ Primary End of Year Reading Test (percent correct scoring criteria) * Promotion Criteria #2 ~Stanford Diagnostic Reading Test (percentile rank scoring criteria) * Good Cause Portfolio Promotion Criteria ~ Developmental Reading Assessment (DRA-Classic and DRA-2 Distinctions)

  5. Reading Promotion Criteria Revisions – Grade 3 Good Cause Portfolio Promotion Criteria~ Just Read, Florida! Third Grade Reading Assessment Portfolio (replaces Leadership Resources Reading Assessment Portfolio) STILL IN REVIEW

  6. Reading Promotion Criteria Revisions – Grades 4-5 * Promotion Criteria #1 ~ FCAT 2.0 – SSS Reading (new FCAT version designation based on 2007 SSS)

  7. Reading Promotion Criteria Revisions – Grades 4-5 * Good Cause Alternative Promotion Criteria ~ Stanford Diagnostic Reading Test (percentile rank scoring criteria) * Good Cause Portfolio Promotion Criteria~ Macmillan/McGraw-Hill Benchmark Reading Test (replaces Harcourt Trophies End of Year Test)

Reading PMP Criteria Revisions – Grades 1-3 First Quarter ONLY * PMP Criteria #1 (First Quarter Only) ~ Stanford Diagnostic Reading Test (grades 2-3) (added as criteria #1 option this year) ~ Rigby and DRA Running Records (grades 1-3) (option to use as criteria #1 this year) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (Letter Names, Letter Sounds, Concepts of Print remain criteria at grades K-1 for first quarter)

Reading PMP Criteria Revisions – Grade 1 Fourth Quarter ONLY (See Quarterly K-1 Reading PMP Criteria Documents that follow Promotion and PMP Matrix in Procedural Manual of Policy 6000.1) * PMP Criteria #1 (Fourth Quarter Only) ~ Primary End of Year Reading Test (percent correct scoring criteria) ~ Stanford Diagnostic Reading Test (added criteria for this year)

  10. Mathematics Promotion Criteria Revisions – Grades 4-5 * Promotion Criteria #1~FCAT 2.0 – NGSSS Mathematics (new FCAT version designation based on NGSSS)

  11. Mathematics Promotion Criteria Revisions – Grades 4-5 * Good Cause Alternative Promotion Criteria ~ Stanford Diagnostic Mathematics Test (percentile rank scoring criteria) * Good Cause Portfolio Promotion Criteria~ Go Math End of Year Test (replaces Harcourt End of Year Math Test)

  12. Mathematics PMP Criteria Revisions – Grades K-3 First Quarter ONLY * PMP Criteria #1 (First Quarter Only) ~ Go Math Prerequisite Skills Benchmarks Test (replaces previous varied math criteria)

Mathematics PMP Criteria Revisions – Grades K-1 All Four Quarters (See Quarterly K-1 Math PMP Criteria Documents that follow Promotion and PMP Matrix in Procedural Manual of Policy 6000.1) * PMP Criteria #1 and #2 (ALL Four Quarters) ~ All Math PMP Criteria Changed (reflects assessments in new math series)

  14. Mathematics PMP Criteria Revisions – Grades 4-5 First Quarter ONLY * PMP Criteria #1 (First Quarter Only) ~ FCAT – SSS Mathematics – remains this year (will change to FCAT 2.0 – NGSSS once new FCAT 2.0 is administered end of this year)
