When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you.” (Matthew 9:2)

Colossians 3:12-13 • Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; 13 bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do.
Ephesians 4:32 • And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God in Christ forgave you.

Exodus 34:7 • Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children and the children's children to the third and the fourth generation. • It is God’s character to punish the wicked, but forgive those who repent

Conclusion To err is human;to forgive, Divine. “Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.” (Matthew 5:48)
