TeacherInsight™ 2.0 • A new interview which builds on a proven knowledge base • The original TI used the standards of teacher ratings by principals and students • 2.0 is based on a study of teachers (1,000 and 13,000 candidates) whose students have grown academically, regardless of the beginning level of the student
TeacherInsight™ 2.0 • 2.0 measures a different set of attributes than TI, thus it can be expected that the applicants score will differ if they complete both assessments. • February 1, 2011 launch of 2.0. • Candidate may re-take within one year. • Need 40 minutes of uninterrupted time
TeacherInsight™ Assessment Score As of the end of March, 40,000 applicants have completed the 2.0 TI Median Score = 72 Mean Score= 72.6 Top Quartile Score= 78 72 will be the reference point for PISD Approvals by your supervisor will be required for scores less than 72
TeacherInsight™ Assessment Score • Starting with the highest-scoring candidates and “drilling down” in the pool will provide the best return on principals' interview time investment. • Apply the PISD Rubric for knowledge and skill. • Complete the FIT on your finalists. FIT allows opportunity to hear candidates’ responses to questions that sample information assessed in the TI.
2.0 new Talent Dimension Report • The TDR provides a wealth of information that is descriptive of candidates’ talent • TDR provides bar graphs that compare an individual candidate to the comparison group across 3 domains

Interpreting the Talent Assessment Score Talent Dimensional Report (TDR) components provide greater insight into a candidate’s relative talents and indicate how two candidates, sharing the same overall score, differ in their talent areas
