Proposal Development Process • Initiate idea/project qualification • Know what you seek to fund, how much support you’ll need, and strength/viability of project being funded. Preliminary activity? • Find appropriate funders, discuss with OSP/CFR, find resources to help you. PIVOT • Prepare summary, contact funder • PD/PI, project team and OSP/CFR develop proposal, budget and support materials • Review and approval for submission • Finalize proposal package, submit early
