  1. S3000L Status Report ASD/AIA S3000L Steering Committee 11.04.-14.04.2010Paris / GIFAS

Steering Committee ToR completed and forwarded to S3000L Working Group Members Clarification of chapter responsibility for potential update work Establishment of S3000L Change Process still open. Steve Whittaker created a CP template based on S3000L Chapter 1.4 from issue 0.1. THALES repository was completely re-organized for SC purposes since Washington meeting. Development process is archived. Change process could be managed in the repository as a first approach. Capabilities of the QuickPlace software could be used. Further detailed investigations would be necessary and some QuickPlace training is required to understand the handling of the features (not self-explaining !)

  3. Steering Committee Chair, co-chair and secretary Chair and co-chair will be finally nominated at next S3000L-SC meeting in April 2011. Until this date the actual chairmen will continue. European chair: Peter Eichmüller Cassidian (EADS) US chair: Bill Foreman BOEING A secretary will be nominated as soon as possible. Volunteers were not directlyavailable at S3000L-SC. Potential candidates must wait for confirmation of their own companies.

Working Groups Data Modelling Working Group: Leif Gyllström to be the leader of the data modelling working group Schedule: 11/2010 Finalization and uploading of DEX1A&D and DEX3A&D to OASIS dexlib (XML schemata will be archived in the S3000L repository 04/2011 Finalization of S1003X, issue 1.0 This S3000L-SC, a one day training will be performed for all members to basically understand S3000L data model (UML). AP239 representation will be out of scope.  

  5. Working Groups WEB Representation Working Group S3000L SC agreed that publication situation of S3000L is absolutelyinacceptable. New standard available, however, nobody can get it ! Solution required ! Steve Whittaker prepared a complete package of HTML files, which only need to be transferred to the ASD-STAN server together with issue 1.0 PDF file of S3000L  no effort for ASD-STAN web master. Situation today: Emails to ASD-STAN web master, to Elysee van Trouche and to Günter Lessmann are not answered up to today. No reaction, also after reminder emails.

  6. Working Groups • LSA Example Working Group • S3000L SC agreed, that LSA Example has two aspects: • Usage of S3000L from project definition down to MTA • Data transfer specification to S1000D (bicycle example !) • Bill volunteered to document scope and objective of S3000L example as • a baseline for the start of the working group. Harmonization with • S1000D required. • Peter to show an extension of the S1000D bicycle approach at the Paris • SC. Discussion about example and working group start.

  7. Working Groups LSA Primer and Training Material Working Group Two LSA primer were distributed to check to S3000L-SC Peter prepared a set of powerpoint slides in English language as a basic presentation set for everybody of the SC. Translation to other languages for usage in national presentations is recommended and can be performed by the specific native speakers. Organization of translation job will be done by the working group itself.
