Technology Plan Goals 2012-13 • Install wireless infrastructure • Hire Assistant Network Administrator • Hire Instructional Technology Specialist • Pilot 1:1 programs • Form committee to review 1:1 pilot programs, search for appropriate device, research applications, set policies and guidelines in order to make the most effective and impactful decisions regarding 1:1

  6. Assistant Network Administrator • 12 month employee • Assist with installing new (wireless) and maintaining current network infrastructure to allow for new instructional technologies to be implemented • Recommended starting salary: $40,000 - 41,600 + benefits

  7. Instructional Technology Facilitator • Facilitator will supervise Instructional Technology Specialist(s) • 2012-13: Support grades 8-12 & RTI/RTC • Extend contract from 195 to 225 daysBudget impact – $9,287

  8. Instructional Technology Specialist • 2012-13: Support grades K-7 • Estimated Cost: Teacher Salary + 10 Day Extended Contract Average Teacher $47,500 + benefits
