Painting has been a part of recorded the human experience for thousands of years. People painted to communicate ideas before they had an official language to express themselves.
When we are children we draw to express ourselves before we can speak or read.
A painting is a creative visual description of a person, place or idea.
Our painting project topic will be :Canadian Painting and the way it is a creative visual description of this place we call ‘Canada’.
