  13. Admission Requirements to UTC Regular Admission for Fall 2014 •  2.85 grade point average/18 ACT/ 870 SAT OR •  2.5 grade point average/ 21 ACT/ 990 SAT •  16 unit requirements beginning fall 2013 • Exceptions made on a case by case basis.

  14. How to begin an application to UTC • To apply to UTC, Go to www.utc.edu/admissionsand fill out the Admissions Application •  $30 application fee; Fee Waivers available •  Official copy of the high school transcript •  ACT/SAT test scores PLEASE  APPLY ONLINE first before sending transcripts

Scholarship Checklist/Requirements for UTC(must apply to UTC first) Scholarship Checklist • Once you receive acceptance letter with official UTCID number  Log in to MyMocsNet portal • Complete the online scholarship application under Money tab • Receive notification about institutional or endowed scholarships • Firm scholarship offers begin in November • APPLY EARLY Types • Chancellor - 3.75/30 ACT/1340 SAT $9,000 • Provost - 3.5/26 ACT/1190 SAT $7,000 • Mocs- 3.4/24 ACT/1110 SAT $6,000 • Chattanooga YES - 3.0/19 ACT/910 SAT $7,000

  17. UTC Deadlines • November 1 - Housing application available November 1 & First round scholarship offers mailed • December 1 - Admissions deadline for scholarship consideration • January 15 - Orientation reservations begin • February 1 - Last day for online scholarship application

  21. UTM Scholarships Students who apply for admission are automatically considered forany Scholarship for which they are eligible. Scholarship deadline is February 1, 2014 • University Scholars - $5,000 per year • 28 ACT and 3.5 GPA • Selective – 15 Students each fall • Participate in Honors Program Scholarships • Chancellor’s Award - $3,000 per year • 28 ACT and 3.5 GPA • Guaranteed to applicants who apply by February 1st deadline • Participate in Honors Program • Deans Scholarship - $1,500 per year • 25 ACT and 3.5 GPA •Guaranteed to applicants who apply by February 1st deadline
