  2. When I eat lunch at school it is important to have good table manners. People will enjoy eating with me if I have good table manners. *insert real picture of school

  3. First, I sit patiently and quietly at my seat and wait for my teacher to bring my food, spoon, fork, napkin, and water. If I get my own food, I put it on the table and sit patiently and quietly until it is time to eat.

  4. After my teach sets my plate in front of me I will pick up my fork or spoon and eat a small bite of food.

  5. I will chew my food with my mouth closed and wait until I have swallowed my food until I take a sip of my drink. I am chewing with my mouth open! That is not good manners because people don’t want to see my chewed up food!

  6. If I have to say something, I will chew and swallow my food because it is not polite to talk with food in my mouth.

  7. I will do this until I am done eating. When I am finished with my food I will first wipe off my mouth, second throw any trash away, and third clean up my area at the table by picking up crumbs and wiping the table off.

  8. Now I am all done with lunch!
