Lorca Di’Corcia Lorca DiCorcia is a street photographer best known for his pictures of heads during 1999. During this time a lot of people were impressed by his work, he had set up a tripod on times square and took pictures of random strangers in the street, although most people found this part of his work interesting, one man in particular, ErnoNussenzweig, a Jew from New Jersey noticed that his picture was in the exhibition catalogue , after noticing he called his lawyer and took Lorca DiCorcia to court for publishing his photograph without permission.

Bruce Guilden • Bruce Gilden is a street photographer known in New York City. After watching the film Blowup in 1968 he bought his first camera and started taking photography classes. He was fascinated with everyday normal people on the street. Since 1998 Bruce captured photographs of Japan’s mobsters, the homeless, prostitutes and members of bike gangs. Bruce Gilden’s photographs often feature close up shots of people and he has no limits when it comes to photographing the public. His photos are also black and white.
Martin Parr • “At first glance his photographs seem exaggerated and grotesque” • Martin’s work is strongly known for the quote above. He invades the space of the public and takes images that can seem very insulting or upsetting to the subject that was used in the image. • Propaganda! Parr counters this propaganda by using criticism, seduction and humor (though not seen for some) in his images. • His photographers all had the aim of showing to viewers how we live, how we present ourselves to others and what we value in . All this is presented in his photographs in a original manner.
