8. State Health Department Successes • New Jersey • Received funding in 2010 • Successes: • Injection Safety Ambassadors, PSA, Community College Allied Health outreach • North Carolina • Received funding in 2012 • Successes: • New hire for position, working group kick-off is later this month!

State Health Department Successes • Colorado • After a 2011 incident, the state health department’s HAI program: • Started a workgroup • Decided on targeted messaging • Reached out to One & Only Campaign for materials • Creating local partnerships • Montana • An active State HAI Coordinator ordered enough copies of the SIPC Training video to disseminate to directors of nursing in all hospitals across Montana
