  2. Definizione La stampa roto offset è una tecnica di stampa planografica indiretta. In questo processo di stampa viene utilizzato come supporto una bobina di carta continua.

  3. Gruppo stampa Il gruppo stampa è formato da 4 cilindri, 2 cilindri lastra e 2 caucciù. La forma da stampa è planografica come nella stampa offset.

  4. Punti di forza Possibilità di stampare una vasta gamma di prodotti: riviste, copertine, tabloid, cataloghi, volumi, opuscoli, inserti e periodici. Possono essere stampati su vari tipi di supporto come carta, cartone e plastica. È consigliata per tirature da 20 000 a 1 000 000 e più di copie.

  5. Punti di debolezza • Non è indicata per le basse tirature (per l’elevato costo); • Impossibilità di rimettere il nastro di carta in macchina.

  6. Caratteristiche tecniche • Velocità di stampa: fino a circa 30 000 c/h; • Diametro cilindro ridotto; • La macchina è dotata anche di elementi di piega, filo colla, taglio e raccolta; • Possibilità di stampare minor grammatura e qualità della carta; • Maggior brillantezza nei colori.
