  2. Transfer Credit • Students who transfer from a college or university can be admitted with 1 semester of study outstanding • All other credit will be transferred at the point of admission • Students with coursework outstanding have 1 semester to provide it & an NSI added to record • “Add-on” credit may take 4-6 weeks, but usually 1 week

  3. Dual Enrollment Credit • College courses taken in high school • Freshmen students are admitted without college transcripts for dual enrollment • Student must have college transcript sent to Admissions directly • Students may not be able to get college transcripts to us until after the start of the semester

  4. Advanced Placement (AP) Credit • Reported directly to Admissions (on paper) and UITS (electronically) • Reports have to be received directly from ETS • Large loads usually received in June and loaded onto the student’s record within 1-2 weeks • http://enroll.iupui.edu/admissions/resources/ap_credit.html

  7. Other News about Credit • Courses with grade below a “C” will now be loaded into SIS, but will not be transferred (unless they are PUWL courses for a Purdue school student) • Milestones will be added for students who have completed Gen Ed at another Indiana public college • If a student has a milestone added, courses with a D will transfer in • New form to request evaluation of UNDI credit
