  5. Intelligent Computer Poker Players • How Loki works • Learns how its opponents play • sees how often players bluff • compares a player’s betting to the player’s hand • Calculates probabilities

  7. Robotic Pets • Sony’s AIBO • Robotic dog • Develops personality depending on treatment by owner • Responds to touch and sound • Has robotic, jointed legs
