Objective • To facilitate existing and new (prospective) investors to purchase FT schemes through 3rd • party distributor website • Project was designed by TA and launched in conjunction with • Legal and compliance • FTT India TA systems • Benefits • Existing Investors need not visit our branch to submit purchase requests • Investor need not have a secure login in our website to purchase units from our schemes • Common application form with pre-filled broker code for new investors
Distributor Website Setup • Promote this facility to the distributors • Given below are the links which the distributors can use to give a link in their website • Existing investor (online purchase) https://www.franklintempletonindia.com/india_app/Investors/InvestOnline/InvOnlineBrkTrans.asp?arncode=XXXX • New Investor (CAF with pre filled advisor code) https://www.franklintempletonindia.com/india_app/Investors/InvestOnline/InvOnlineDistViewDocument.asp?arncode=XXXX Note: XXXX in the above link is a variable value which needs to be replaced with the actual broker code (for example ARN-0000)
New Investors • First time FT investors can select the option ‘Invest Now’ under New Investors • This link would open a common application form which would be pre-filled with the • respective ARN code; Investors need to then submit the duly filled form to any of our ISCs • for processing
Existing Investors – Getting started • Investors need to click on ‘Invest now’ under Existing investors • Investors would now be directed to our website (next slide) where they can purchase FT funds • in 6 easy steps
Step 1 – Terms & Conditions • Investor needs to accept the website T&C to proceed further
Step 2 - Verification • Investor has to enter customer folio / account number and first holder / guardian PAN • We would not allow channel partner investors and USA address escrow marked folios • beyond this step
Step 3 – Fund Selection • Investors can choose to invest in a scheme where they have already invested or a new • scheme or NFO scheme • Funds list would be displayed based on fund category Offer document - Mandatory
Step 4 - Purchase • Investors need to enter the amount and select the bank from where direct debit has to be • made Direct debit banks • Investors need to enter the amount and select the bank from where direct debit has to be • made
Step 5 – Purchase confirmation • In this step, an investor can verify his purchase request • When the investor clicks on ‘confirm’, we would direct him to the bank website via • bill desk
Step 6 – Bank Website • Investor need to login to their respective bank website and authorize direct debit • Sample login screen of HDFC bank given below
Payment Confirmation • Upon successful payment confirmation, we would display the payment confirmation details in • our website 1. Option to print this page 2. Existing account # would be displayed here for additional purchase 3. Existing folio number 4. Reference number
Important Points • If there is an email id registered with us, then • Purchase transaction confirmation e-mail would be triggered immediately • E-statement would be triggered after processing (for e-statement opted investors) • If there is no email id registered, then we would follow the regular process of sending • physical account statement • If the investor has opted for mobile alerts, we would trigger a purchase confirmation • SMS after processing the purchase • Currently this setup would only allow purchase of units in FT schemes; We are also • evaluating the option for providing other financial transactions including SIP registrations, • switch requests etc • This process is in no way connected to our online advisor access (DPIN)
