Population questionExplaining why BRs and DRs fall • The reasons for these changes are that the birth rate is lower because people don’t want to have as many kids or women don’t want to get pregnant because they like their career or they wait too long to have children and lose their fertility. Also people aren’t getting married as young so there is less chance of kids and there is more awareness about contraception which has improved. Also death is low because there are better diets being used and better healthcare. Medical advances keep people alive. Also better medicine. Also there is a natural increase of people 65 and over because if the % goes down in the population because of less births then people will get a bigger % even if it hasn’t changed.
