Comprehensive Plan Language Current Status • TAC reviewed and refined County Smart Growth Amendment through August 2008 • County amendment intended to serve as a model for other interested jurisdictions • County Council transmitted amendment in August • ORC expected in mid-October
Comprehensive Plan Language Remaining Issues • Minor and/or editorial refinements to language • Refinements or additional detail in response to ORC • Implementation issues
Comprehensive Plan Language Next Steps • TAC may provide input to County as it refines County amendment in response to ORC • TAC may refine model in response to ORC • Interested cities use County amendment/model to develop comp plan language appropriate to their circumstances
