A new way to evaluate neurological impairments of infants by magnetic mapping • 100% non-invasive MEG (MagnetoEncephaloGraphy) • Directly measures neural activity • Portable – goes from hospital elevator to bedside • Needs NO shielded room
Data Acquisition System • 24 bit resolution • 10 kSample/sec sampling rate, simultaneous • 88 data channels, expandable • Both hardware and software buffered • Fiber optic data link • Multi-PXI configuration currently being developed
