Approaches to Learning In this module you will: • reflect on your learning experiences • identify significant figures and experiences in your own learning • consider what might constitute your own learning style/ approach to learning; • review learning theories and study the lives and works of significant figures in education; • identify a range of factors which influence learning.

Learning Intentions: • This module will enable you to: • reflect on your learning experiences as a child and as a young person; • identify significant figures and experiences in your own childhood learning; • consider what might constitute your own learning style/ approach to learning; • review learning theories and study the lives and works of significant figures in education; And give consideration to how these reflections and the knowledge gained will influence your future classroom practice.

  7. N.B. (nota bene) • There will be NO seminar on the Tuesday of Week 4. This is to give you additional preparation time in which to complete your poster. • BUT…there is LL on the Monday of week 4.
