  1. Ice Melting The Problem Of Ice Melting

  2. The Problem Of Ice Melting

  3. Description Ice is melting everywhere. Because global temperatures are rising, ice caps and glaciers, that in some cases have existed for millennia, are disappearing. The consequence is the rising sea level faster than earlier projected by scientists, threatening both human and wildlife populations.

  4. Causes of ice melting

  5. causes • The main cause of thisphenomenon "melting glaciers" is the pollution generated by humanbeings. Industrialized countries, such as the United States of Americafollowed by the European Union, Russia, Japan and Canada release greenhousegases. The figures below show the reality:United States of America 6726997000 tons. Europe 4131226000 tons. Russia 1962441000 tons. The Japan 1330555000 tons. The Canada 692230000 tons. • Because of theirexpanse ;when the oceans warm themselves up, ittakes a long time for them to getcolder.

  6. Water pollution isvery important stop pollution beforeit’stoolate!

  7. The consequences of the ice melting: I – The rise of the water level: In the world the global « warming provokes the rise of the water level », we can see that the consequences of the ice melting is flooding in the world and that the flooding is very dangerous for the inhabitants of this planet. A lot of people have to go to live in another country because their house is destroyed by the flooding! People cannot live anymore in regions where they are threatened by flooding. In the picture it is said:’’ two hours of heavy rain had resulted in never seen before flooding in Klang Valley areas’’. the level of the searises. the polar bears die. The home of theirinhabitants are destroyed (people who live in North or South poles). II – The extinction of polar bears: The polar bears are in danger because their home is melting along with the floe.

  8. Solutions against the global warming and against the melting of ice. The problems are the global warming and the endangeredspecies. There are a lot of solutions to thisproblem. The first solution is to use less and less cars. If we use less and less cars, wewillreduce carbone dioxide. The carbondioxideprovokes global warming and the rise of the temperatureswhich has a role in the melting of the polar ice. The second solution is to fix a quota for the rejection of carbondioxide by factories. The third solution is to createrenewableenergy as windenergywithwind turbines and the water energywithhydroelectric power stations.
