Types of e-Portfolio • Given previous definitions: • an online electronically created portfolio for the duration of a course • evidence uploaded onto bought-in software or a VLE • an electronically created portfolio for the duration of a course • evidence saved on a server, CD or DVD • an electronic/online portfolio which is created and maintained for a lifetime Fiona Mylchreest
e-Portfolio Contents • Given previous definitions: • purely evidence required for assessment objectives to be met • personal and reflective, development rather than assessment • learning and assessment • ownership of the e-portfolio varies between staff, student and institution Fiona Mylchreest
