Peer Review Find a partner First person reviewed (15 minutes) Switch and review second person’s copy (15 minutes)
Submitting Poster Copy • Please submit by March 3 • Word file • Title of your project • Name, title, department and affiliation (UAA/APU) • Copy under clearly marked headings • Context of Inquiry • Focus of Inquiry • Course Design and Implementation • Findings • Reflections • Other, e.g., funders/collaborators
Submitting Poster Copy • Send word document and images in ONE email • Do NOT insert your images into your word document; images need to be separate attachments in the one email • Send email to both Darla Carlson and Danny Kennedy • Subject line: • Difficulty Dialogues Faculty Poster: Your Name • Difficulty Dialogues Faculty Poster: Your Name (Additional image files)
In your email • Your contact information • Telephone and email • Indicate your availability over spring break
Proofing Your Poster • First Proof • Return within 2 days • Reply to the sender of the proof • Be clear on requested revisions • Be judicious and thoughtful • Final Proof • Return with 2 days • What you approve will be printed
The e-portfolio • A customized portfolio management system created by UAA’s IT services (Luke Weld and software engineers) • Individual faculty login (same as Blackboard) • UAA user name • UAA password • APU faculty: Use your Difficult Dialogues BB user name and password
E-portfolio Folders • Luke will load your final poster from Darla • Six “folders” in your portfolio: • Context of Inquiry • Focus of Inquiry • Course Design and Implementation • Findings • Reflections • Faculty Contact
Artifact Suggestions • Context of Inquiry • Course content guide • University course description • Other? • Focus of Inquiry • IRB proposal • Consent forms • Other?

Preparing your Portfolio Documents • Get organized • Create folders corresponding to the portfolio folders on your hard drive or thumb drive • Save word/ppts as pdfs (reduce files for web) or image files.
Managing Your e-portfolio • Log-in (we will give you the address) • e-Portfolio Log-in • Switch to edit mode • Click on text wheels to add text • Click on link bar to upload documents/create links • Click on yellow wheel to save and publish • Switch to read mode to view • Log out
