  4. 计算机网络的定义 计算机网络就是将分散在各地的并且具有独立功能的多个计算机系统通过通信设备或线路连接起来，在功能完善的网络软件（即网络通信协议、信息交换方式及网络操作系统等）支持下实现彼此之间的数据通信和资源共享的系统。

  9. 1.3 TCP/IP 协议 • 网络的层次模型与协议 • 计算机网络体系分层，就是把网络体系所提供的通路划分成一组功能分明的层次，各层执行自己所承担的任务，为用户提供一个方便的访问通路。每一层都实现具体的、相对独立的、与其他层截然不同的功能。每一层又有着完成其功能所必须具有的协议。 • TCP/IP协议 • TCP/IP协议是ARPAnet工程所开发的协议，它最初用于广域网互连。后来，在Internet中，在局域网和广域网的互连中被广泛采用。它是一系列协议服务的总集，在硬件链路之上分四层。 • IP地址和域名 • 连接到Internet上的每台计算机都必须有一个惟一的地址，Internet上的地址是用数字来表示的，称为IP地址。
